Role Overview
Safety Engineer role based in Dubai for construction and development project activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor site health and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain safety documentation through DDA, Dubai Municipality, and Trakhees portals.
- Maintain records of inspections, incidents, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and authorities on HSE matters.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
- Stay updated on UAE HSE regulations and authority requirements.
- Prepare HSE reports and communicate safety observations and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of UAE experience in construction or development projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with safety documentation and submissions through DDA, Dubai Municipality, and Trakhees portals.
- Good understanding of risk assessment, site inspections, incident reporting, and HSE procedures.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000–10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
