Role Overview
AUM Development is hiring an experienced Document Controller for a building construction project.
The role supports project documentation and records within the construction and contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation and records.
- Control distribution, tracking, and filing of drawings, documents, and correspondence.
- Maintain document registers and version control.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and project teams.
- Manage incoming and outgoing transmittals and correspondence.
- Follow up on document approvals, submissions, and revisions.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with company and project document control procedures.
Requirements
- Previous Document Controller experience in the UAE construction industry is required.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, submittals, transmittals, and document registers is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and document management systems is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- The ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines efficiently is required.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
