Safe Schools Guard Full-time, 10-month

Ability to sit at a desk/table for limited periods of time and to talk or hear and operate a computer.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and stoop for extended periods of time.

Ability required to intervene in physical disputes.

Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and subsequent fitness for duty evaluations if such is recommended by the administration.

Ability to work as a member of a team.

Must be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented.

Must be able to provide accurate written accounts or verbal statements of observed incidences or reports, upon request.

Must have proven interpersonal skills.

Must establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Auditory acuity to be able to use telephone and greet visitors.

Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions.

Must have a safe driving record, if any record

May be required to travel.

Must pass background investigation.

Must attend required trainings and/or conferences.

Ability to complete mandatory overtime assignments, with notice.
