Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for CPU units and features.
- Use simulation and formal verification methods to execute test plans.
- Develop checkers, assertions, and stimulus generators for testbenches.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, software, SoC, emulation, and FPGA teams.
- Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation, and silicon.
- Implement assembly and C tests for CPU architecture verification.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of hardware engineering or related experience.
- A relevant master's degree plus 3+ years, or PhD plus 2+ years, is presented as an alternative qualification path.
- Experience with C/C++, scripting languages, and Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Good understanding of CPU architectures and microarchitectures.
- Experience verifying CPU power-management features.
Preferred Requirements
- Strong understanding of power management in CPUs and CPU-based SoCs.
- In-depth knowledge of digital logic, microprocessors, debug features, and DFT architecture.
- Formal verification and assertion experience is a plus.
- DFT and structural debug knowledge involving JTAG, IEEE 1500, MBIST, scan dump, or memory dump is a plus.
