Role Overview

  • Senior individual contributor role responsible for building and expanding strategic partnerships with leading retail organizations.
  • Acts as a trusted business consultant to retail partners by understanding their objectives, challenges, customer engagement strategies, and growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for driving adoption of innovative promotional, loyalty, and customer engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and acquire new retail partnerships with leading brands and retail groups.
  • Identify opportunities across multiple sectors, including: Supermarkets & Hypermarkets, Beauty & Cosmetics, Petrol Stations, Electronics, Pharmacy, Sports & Lifestyle Retail.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across: Loyalty & CRM Teams, Marketing Teams, Digital Transformation Teams, Operations & Business Teams.
  • Understand retailer challenges and recommend solutions to improve: Customer acquisition, Customer engagement, Basket value, Promotional performance, Customer retention.
  • Manage the complete partnership lifecycle, from initial discussions and contract signing to successful implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams for smooth project execution and platform integration.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand existing promotional processes and identify improvement areas.
  • Lead project planning, define milestones, track progress, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Maintain strong partner relationships through regular business reviews, reporting, workshops, and strategic recommendations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, retail forums, and networking platforms.

Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of experience in retail partnerships, modern trade, key account management, business development, or strategic sales.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and customer engagement models.
  • Experience working with large retail organizations is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of: Retail technology solutions, Loyalty programs, CRM platforms, E commerce ecosystem, Digital transformation initiatives.
