Accountabilities
Lead the execution and continuous improvement of retail operations programs, processes and standards across the WCLC retail network.
Manage retailer performance programs including retailer communications, issue resolution, engagement initiatives, sales contests, recognition programs and operational support.
Partner with provincial and territorial stakeholders to identify operational opportunities, resolve issues and improve retailer execution and prioritization of lottery.
Lead retail performance reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales, operational efficiency and retailer effectiveness.
Oversee retail inventory coordination processes, including terminal deployment, merchandising assets, lottery equipment and operational readiness activities.
Support execution of National Gateway initiatives, technology upgrades, product launches and retail transformation projects within the retail network.
Lead field execution standards, retailer audits and retail experience assessments to ensure consistent delivery of the WCLC brand and player experience.
Build and develop strong relationships with provincial partners and operational stakeholders to support collaboration and execution excellence.
Lead, coach and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and player/retailer-first thinking.
Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in retail operations, consumer packaged goods (CPG), sales operations, account management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing retail programs across multiple locations, banners or territories.
- Experience partnering with retailers to drive sales, improve execution and deliver operational results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving operations, marketing, product, logistics and technology
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline is preferred.
