The Retail Manager for SKIMS leads and oversees store operations, customer experience, store targets, and team performance.
The role drives a high-performance culture, operational excellence, and compliance with brand standards.
Functional responsibilities
- Drive sales to achieve and exceed store targets through effective leadership and operational efficiency.
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement strategies and action plans to develop the business.
- Ensure an industry-leading service culture in the store.
- Monitor market trends, product categories, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Prepare sales analyses and reports on operational performance, market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour.
- Track sales against forecasts, analyze trends, and maximize sales growth and profitability.
- Maintain P&L awareness, protect profit, and manage cost lines.
- Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team.
- Oversee stock management, procedures, stock levels, and loss minimization.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to maintain brand standards.
- Plan and execute sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Enforce store operations policies and procedures for consistent operations.
People management
- Guide, motivate, and support team members while contributing to their continuous development.
Education and experience
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience successfully managing a fast-paced, large-format retail store.
