Associate Planner - 1year contract

Role Overview

Functional Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, forecasts, allocations, replenishment plans, and open-to-buy plans using sales, market, customer, and trend data.
• Monitor sales, margin, sell-through, inventory, stock turnover, and terminal stock against plan.
• Identify best sellers, slow sellers, sales opportunities, and risks, then take corrective action.
• Review and implement markdown strategies to reduce terminal stock and maximize profit.
• Coordinate price changes, product discontinuations, brand focus, inter-store transfers, and distribution to stores.
• Manage shipments, logistical processing, supplier delivery performance, and product quality follow-up.
• Communicate trading issues, forecasts, sales results, delivery issues, and proposed actions to stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with buying, retail, store management, logistics, operations, and suppliers.

Education and Experience

• University degree in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing planning functions in large-scale retail operations.
• Computer literacy.
