Restaurant Host position for Belgian Cafe at Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai Festival City.
The role supports guest welcomes, reservations, seating, and smooth restaurant operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Meet and greet guests at the restaurant entrance and ensure the restaurant is ready before opening.
- Check that wait staff, tables, and restaurant operating equipment meet opening standards.
- Welcome guests, confirm reservations, create new reservations, and record dining preferences.
- Escort guests to their preferred or reserved table and seat them according to restaurant standards.
- Take telephone bookings and document them in the reservation book.
- Attend to guest requests and resolve complaints where possible, reporting incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain hostess stations, menus, and drink menus in clean condition.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, including daily specials.
- Ensure tables are cleared quietly and efficiently.
- Carry food and beverage trays safely and complete dockets accurately.
- Maintain current information about general hotel activities.
