Role Overview
Crowne Plaza Marlow is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support its busy hotel kitchen team.
The role supports chefs by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency for guest dining operations.
Location and Hotel
Crowne Plaza Marlow is a contemporary four-star lakeside hotel with restaurants, bars, wellness facilities, and meetings and events spaces.
The hotel is located near the M4, M40, and Heathrow, with access to Marlow, Windsor, and the Thames Valley area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Wash crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, and operate the dishwasher.
- Assist with basic food preparation and support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Clean and organise kitchen areas, floors, storage spaces, and equipment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling safely and keep cleaning supplies stocked.
- Receive, store, and rotate deliveries according to food safety guidelines.
- Follow health and safety, food hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Report hazards or equipment issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
- Applicants should be reliable, punctual, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team.
- The role requires attention to detail, flexibility for varied shifts, and ability to perform physical kitchen tasks.
