About Pratt & Whitney Canada

What will your day to day look like?

  • Lead sourcing and manufacturing activities for critical components, modules, assembly systems, and tooling/testing systems for new programs.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Industrialization Director, OPE leads, project managers, and industrial engineers to plan and execute RLPM milestones.
  • Define make, buy, or partner strategies for new components.
  • Evaluate suppliers, partners, and production/assembly & test sites.
  • Develop and implement dual/multi sourcing strategies.
  • Negotiate critical long term agreements.
  • Initiate and monitor procurement, manufacturing, and assembly & test processes.
  • Manage Line of Balance and work in progress reports.
  • Engage suppliers, partners, and sites early in development to optimize design and reduce costs.
  • Track industrial milestones (FAI, PPAP) and ensure MRL maturation.
  • Identify necessary CapEx projects and prepare business cases.
  • Support TRL and MRL assessments for new technologies.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, or industrialization of aerospace engine components.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace processes and materials.
  • Proven experience in cross functional collaboration, project management, communication, and problem solving.
  • Ability to influence complex multi site projects and lead change initiatives.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), sourcing tools, and performance tracking.
  • Very good knowledge of English for daily technical documentation and communication.
