- Oversee daily activities and progress of construction to ensure successful execution
- Manage and direct project teams, including Specialists, Engineers, Inspectors of Works, and Quantity Surveyors
- Ensure all construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to quality standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with contractors and other construction teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and other documentation
- Manage Health & Safety and Environmental Protection standards during construction
- Handle project related issues, mitigate risks, and provide proactive solutions
- Monitor and manage technical and financial proposals, evaluate constructability and deployment of technology on site
- Ensure effective communication among project team and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with Client/PMC, the Contractor and related concerned authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience
- At least 7 years in a managerial or technical lead role in large scale infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Demonstrated experience in handling technical and financial proposals, evaluating constructability, technology deployment, and solving technical challenges during construction
- Prior hands on experience with ITS field systems, including design, configuration, integration, and deployment/commissioning on similar infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing Health & Safety and Environmental Protection aspects of deep underground structures and similar large scale projects
- Proven experience in managing construction projects
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other construction projects and statutory bodies
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
- Proactive problem solving ability
- Computer skills with proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and construction tasks

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer to join our team!
- In this role you will manage the construction supervision of Traffic Monitoring and Information Collection System.
- The project contractor scope will comprise procurement, execution, integration, and testing of field devices and systems including CCTV, Bluetooth, RWIS, RVD and their associated works along with integration to the Central ITS Management System.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing skills
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of engineers and technical staff
- Proactive problem solving ability and capacity to manage work across multiple areas on site
- Computer skills are mandatory, with proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and construction tasks
