Resident Engineer - Infrastructure

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations for compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
• Manage schedules, timelines, milestones, budgets, and costs while coordinating stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies before implementation.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain organized project records.
• Communicate project status with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities throughout construction.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure or construction project management.
• Proven project management and construction management expertise, including PMCM methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure development, construction practices, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools; AutoCAD experience is preferred.
• Experience with budget management, cost control, financial reporting, and construction QA/QC.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a site-based environment and manage on-site teams.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes and PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification are preferred.
