Maintenance & Equipment Engineer (Aviation Exp)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance and equipment readiness activities within the ORAT program.
• Develop maintenance readiness plans, equipment readiness schedules, and transition requirements.
• Review facility and equipment design for operability, maintainability, accessibility, reliability, and lifecycle requirements.
• Track readiness requirements through construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
• Coordinate maintenance procedures, staffing, training, spare parts, tools, and consumables with operational stakeholders.
• Maintain asset registers, equipment databases, tagging requirements, and maintenance data.
• Review preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, plans, and schedules.
• Coordinate O&M manuals, procedures, warranties, spare parts lists, and technical handover records.
• Support testing, commissioning, operational trials, demonstrations, inspections, and readiness exercises.
• Track readiness gaps, risks, constraints, and corrective actions with project stakeholders.
• Verify critical spares, specialist tools, consumables, equipment, and maintenance resources before operations commence.
• Support asset acceptance, operational handover, transition to the operator, and readiness reporting.

What Do We Need From You

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aviation engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in maintenance, equipment engineering, asset management, operational readiness, or airport operations.
• Relevant aviation or airport project experience, preferably involving ORAT or operational transition programs.
• Strong understanding of ORAT principles, activation, transition, and facility handover.
• Experience coordinating maintenance readiness requirements with contractors, suppliers, operators, and clients.
