- Conduct in depth research and analysis on topics related to interfaith dialogue, coexistence, and global issues
- Support development of research outputs including reports, policy briefs, white papers, and thought leadership publications
- Assist in gathering, reviewing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources
- Contribute to implementation of research methodologies, frameworks, and analytical tools
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support research activities
- Support preparation of research materials, presentations, and briefing notes
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and academic review standards
- Translate research findings into practical insights for program development and advocacy
- Monitor trends, emerging topics, and global developments relevant to the research agenda
- Support organization and maintenance of research activities, databases, and knowledge repositories
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Religious Studies, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3 5 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, or policy development
- Experience in academic, think tank, or research focused environments preferred
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Effective stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research tools/databases

Role Purpose
- The Research Specialist supports the development and delivery of the organization's research agenda by conducting high quality research, analysis, and knowledge production aligned with institutional priorities in interfaith dialogue, peaceful coexistence, and human fraternity.
- The role contributes to the generation of impactful research outputs and supports evidence based program development and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, fellows, and subject matter experts.
- Support the preparation of research materials, presentations, and briefing notes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Religious Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, or policy development.
- Experience in academic, think tank, or research focused environments is preferred.
