Overview
- The Relationship Officer is responsible for using their knowledge of local real estate markets to help potential clients to buy real estate properties.
- Duties include meeting with clients to discuss ideal property requirements and price points, overseeing open houses and showing properties.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and assist potential property buyers in purchasing property for the right price under the best terms.
- Determine clients' needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them.
- Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters.
- Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price.
- Deliver or present promotional presentations to current or prospective customers.
- Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters.
- Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, and advise them on suitability and value.
- Maintain lists of available properties with details regarding location, square footage and features.
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing, ensuring smooth and successful transactions.
- Keep abreast of market trends, industry developments, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field
- 4 5 Years of Experience in property sales
- Proven track record in property sales
