About the Role
CBD is looking for a Relationship Manager to manage an existing credit portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers and acquire new relationships. The role involves negotiating credit lines, conducting client visits, and cross-selling banking products.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage an assigned portfolio with existing Emerging Corporates clients to retain and grow their banking relationships
- Identify, solicit and acquire new Emerging Corporate clients in line with approved growth plan for Assets, Liabilities, Trade and Treasury income
- Negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the Bank’s credit underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets
- Conduct regular visits to clients for both monitoring and business generation purposes
- Conduct account planning and cross selling other products and services to Emerging Corporate clients
- Ensure timely and accurate credit administration through timely completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring
- Comply with internal audit requirements in line with policy guidelines
- Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment to spot business opportunities
Requirements
- 5 7 years of experience in Business banking with 2 3 years of exposure to Commercial Banking in the UAE
- Business acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies
- Good knowledge of Corporate Banking products

Job Purpose
- Manage existing credit portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers in addition to acquiring new relationships to achieve overall assigned financial targets.
Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain & manage an assigned portfolio with existing Emerging Corporates clients to retain & grow their banking relationships in a profitable manner.
- Identify, solicit and acquire new Emerging Corporate clients in line with approved growth plan for Assets, Liabilities, Trade and Treasury income.
- Negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the Bank’s credit underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets.
- Conduct regular visits to clients for both monitoring and business generation purposes.
- Conduct account planning & cross selling other products & services to Emerging Corporate clients.
- Establish effective & professional communication to ensure turnaround time within designated parameters and higher client satisfaction levels.
- Ensure timely and accurate credit administration through timely completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring.
- Comply with internal audit requirements in line with the policy guidelines.
- Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment to spot business opportunities.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years of experience in Business banking with 2 3 years of exposure to Commercial Banking in the UAE.
- Business acumen and ability to prepare plans and strategies are essential.
- Good knowledge of Corporate Banking products.
