The Company

  • Operations extend across the entire mining value chain, including a precious metals processing facility, fleet of specialist mining machinery, and private aviation capability.

About the Role

  • The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across CXC Upstream's mining operations.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact, you will work collaboratively with suppliers, contractors, service providers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, contractors and key business stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations and project teams to ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and improve service delivery.
  • Coordinate meetings, performance reviews and regular engagement with key partners.
  • Manage escalations professionally, facilitating timely resolution of operational or commercial issues.
  • Maintain accurate stakeholder records, correspondence and engagement plans.
  • Support the implementation of supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in relationship management, account management, stakeholder engagement or commercial operations, ideally within mining, industrial services, infrastructure or engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross functional teams in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Professional, commercially aware and solutions focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or stakeholder management systems is advantageous.
