About the Role

  • A leading UAE bank is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking to join its Wholesale Banking Division.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with Mid Corporate and Large Corporate clients while driving business growth across lending, transaction banking, trade finance, and treasury products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new Mid Corporate and Large Corporate relationships.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the Corporate Banking portfolio.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new lending opportunities.
  • Meet assigned portfolio growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Corporate Banking clients.
  • Develop long term relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and business owners.
  • Understand customers' financing needs and recommend tailored banking solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining long term relationships.
  • Conduct financial analysis and credit assessment of corporate clients.
  • Structure credit facilities aligned with clients' business requirements.
  • Prepare detailed credit applications and investment memorandum.
  • Present lending proposals to Credit Risk and Credit Committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree, MBA, CFA, CA, FRM, or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE Corporate/Wholesale Banking experience.
  • Current or recent experience as a Relationship Manager, Assistant Relationship Manager, Relationship Officer, or Corporate Banking Officer.
  • Proven success in originating new Corporate Banking relationships.
  • Strong experience structuring corporate lending facilities.
  • SME Relationship Managers will not be considered.
  • Strong business development and networking skills.
  • Corporate credit analysis.
  • Financial statement analysis.
  • Corporate lending structuring.
  • Negotiation and relationship management.
