Role Overview
The role manages preparation, validation, submission, and continuous improvement of regulatory reports.
The position works with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data, and senior management teams.
The objective is to ensure submissions are accurate, complete, timely, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and returns to relevant authorities.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and reconcile financial, operational, risk, and business data.
- Maintain reporting calendars, templates, procedures, documentation, and audit trails.
- Monitor regulatory ratios, capital, liquidity, risk indicators, and other applicable metrics.
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate breaches, errors, unusual movements, and regulatory concerns.
Controls and Assurance
- Maintain controls for data sources, calculations, approvals, evidence, and submissions.
- Reconcile regulatory reports with financial statements, management reports, and source systems.
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, inspections, and information requests.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update reporting processes, templates, and controls.
