About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support initial airworthiness activities during product development, ensuring alignment with applicable airworthiness and regulatory requirements
- Support preparation and maintenance of certification related documentation, including certification basis, Means of Compliance, compliance checklists, evidence tracking, and compliance demonstration packages
- Support preparation of airworthiness documentation required for Permit to Fly, flight test readiness, flight conditions, limitations, configuration status, and supporting compliance evidence
- Coordinate with Engineering, Configuration Management, Safety, Flight Test, and Technical Publications to ensure airworthiness relevant data, limitations, assumptions, and configuration baselines are properly captured, controlled, and traceable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Training in airworthiness, certification, design assurance, compliance demonstration, configuration management, Permit to Fly, flight test support, and aviation safety is desirable
- Relevant experience in aircraft/UAS development, certification support, initial airworthiness, design assurance, compliance demonstration, flight test airworthiness support, or regulatory approval activities

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Training: Training in airworthiness, certification, design assurance, compliance demonstration, configuration management, Permit to Fly, flight test support, and aviation safety is desirable.
- Experience: Relevant experience in aircraft/UAS development, certification support, initial airworthiness, design assurance, compliance demonstration, flight test airworthiness support, or regulatory approval activities.
