Role Overview
Provide and coordinate registered nursing care under the UAE regulatory code, scope of practice, and applicable licensure.
Work with physicians and healthcare specialists to assess patients, implement treatment plans, and support safe outcomes.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, education, advice, and emotional support to patients and families.
- Assess and reassess patients, collect health data, determine nursing diagnoses, and define expected outcomes.
- Create and evaluate care plans with the interprofessional team and patient.
- Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, and escalate deteriorating conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments and administer medications.
- Administer IV fluids or blood products and monitor for reactions.
- Provide wound care and assist with invasive or non-invasive procedures.
- Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Hold an appropriate registered nurse license from the relevant regulatory health authority.
- Manage professional re-licensure and hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
- Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
