• The Registered Nurse – Outpatient provides professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, administering treatments and medications, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.
• The role ensures quality, safe, and compassionate care in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies while supporting physicians and the healthcare team.
• 🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist physicians with outpatient procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and progress in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Support patient triage and prioritize care based on urgency.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment, supplies, and clinical resources.
• 🎓 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable country/state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient
• Strong knowledge of outpatient procedures, clinical protocols, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
