Responsibilities
- Has accountability and the responsibility for chartering activities of fixing non Maersk owned vessels
- Identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy
- Procures off fleet services for breakbulk cargo via Ocean with responsibility for quality control and management of the service/asset
- Is active in fixing vessels, identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy
- Develops and maintains positive and constructive relationships with existing and potential vendors
- Assists in identifying and developing new business relationships and opportunities by proactive interaction with vendors/brokers
- Recommends and executes commercial strategies for the vendor category
- Explains and promotes the chosen deployment strategy to the team, ensuring alignment of geographical, period and customer prioritizations
- Oversees the operational service delivery and operations teams to ensure alignment with overall deployment strategy
- May lead small projects or contributes/influence projects of moderate size and scope through substantial contributions to project framing
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in specialized vessels like MPV, Break Bulk Vessels, Ro Ro Vessels, Tug Vessels, Flat Barges and CPA (Charter Party Agreement)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Role Overview
