Role Overview
The Red Team Operations Specialist plans, executes, and documents authorized adversary simulations and security testing across an advertising technology ecosystem.
The role tests platforms, applications, APIs, cloud environments, corporate infrastructure, and third-party integrations against realistic cyber threats.
All activities must remain within approved scope, rules of engagement, and organizational security policies.
Red Team Operations
- Plan and execute authorized red team and adversary simulation exercises.
- Conduct controlled assessments of advertising platforms, applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud environments, and supporting services.
- Develop realistic attack scenarios, perform reconnaissance, and analyze attack paths within approved boundaries.
- Identify weaknesses in authentication, authorization, segmentation, monitoring, and detection controls.
- Safely demonstrate potential business impact and maintain detailed testing documentation.
AdTech Security Testing
- Assess advertising platforms and supporting technologies, including ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDPs, campaign platforms, analytics systems, and advertising APIs.
