Role Overview
Investigate and recover compromised advertising accounts, campaigns, and related digital assets.
Respond to unauthorized access, fraudulent advertising activity, compromise-related policy violations, and financial or campaign losses.
Work with customers, advertising platforms, security teams, technical support, and compliance teams to restore access and reduce disruption.
Investigation and Recovery
- Investigate compromised advertising accounts, Business Managers, ad accounts, pages, and related digital assets.
- Identify unauthorized access, suspicious logins, fraudulent campaigns, unauthorized payment activity, and malicious advertising-setting changes.
- Review activity, campaign history, billing, permissions, and security events to determine scope and impact.
- Coordinate account recovery and restore legitimate customer access.
- Remove unauthorized users, reset credentials, review permissions, and recommend security controls.
Case Handling
- Work with advertising platform support and internal escalation teams to resolve restrictions caused by unauthorized activity.
- Review fraudulent or unauthorized advertisements and assess whether they indicate account compromise.
