- Provide comprehensive post‑procedure nursing care, including patient handover, monitoring, and safe discharge from the recovery area
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition, ensuring timely identification and management of any changes
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the recovery process
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and efficient patient flow
- Prepare and maintain recovery area equipment and supplies in accordance with safety standards
- Provide patient and family education on post‑procedure care and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards in line with organizational policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Operating Theatre preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
