About the Role
M42 is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital in Sharjah. You will assess and treat patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, administer respiratory therapies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and continuously monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Administer and manage respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, airway clearance, and mechanical ventilation.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis, and contribute to clinical decision making through accurate interpretation of results.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory disease management, treatment plans, and the proper use of respiratory devices such as inhalers and CPAP/BiPAP equipment.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate respiratory care equipment to ensure safe and effective patient treatment.
- Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and provide critical respiratory support when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy
- Valid professional license/registration
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology and medical equipment
- Good communication and critical thinking skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy.
