Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with general surgical conditions
- Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures within granted privileges
- Conduct pre operative evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Provide post operative care and follow up
- Manage surgical emergencies and participate in on call coverage
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and patient safety programs
- Provide guidance to junior physicians and nurses
Requirements
- MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical qualification
- Completion of recognized residency and specialty training in General Surgery
- Arab Board, European Board, MRCS with recognized specialist qualification, or equivalent accepted by UAE PQR
- Minimum 3 years post specialization experience as a Specialist General Surgeon
- Valid DOH License as Specialist General Surgery or eligibility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in elective and emergency surgical cases
- Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills
