Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Recovery Nurse (PACU Nurse) to join our One Day Surgery Hospital in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and post-operative care.

Salary

AED 7,000 – 10,000 per month

Salary package will depend on experience, DHA licensing status, critical care exposure, and UAE market experience. (ae.indeed.com)

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
  • Assess patient condition, vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Identify and respond quickly to post-operative complications or emergencies
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and emotional support during recovery
  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OT teams regarding patient status
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and DHA standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Recovery Room / PACU / Critical Care
  • Strong knowledge of post-anesthesia care and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • UAE healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience in Day Surgery / Ambulatory Surgical Centers
  • ACLS and BLS certification preferred
  • ICU or emergency nursing background is an advantage
