Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot medical equipment and devices
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for biomedical equipment
• Ensure proper calibration, testing, and safety checks of medical devices
• Coordinate with clinical departments regarding equipment functionality and technical support
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance logs, and service reports
• Ensure compliance with DHA, manufacturer, and healthcare safety standards
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for repairs and service contracts
• Support equipment procurement, evaluation, and commissioning processes
• Monitor equipment inventory and lifecycle management
• Participate in accreditation, quality improvement, and safety initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related engineering field
• Minimum 3–5 years of biomedical engineering experience, preferably in hospitals or healthcare facilities
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with operating theatre, ICU, anesthesia, and diagnostic equipment
• Good understanding of healthcare safety and compliance standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE healthcare experience preferred
• DHA/MOH healthcare facility experience is an advantage
• Experience in hospitals, day surgery centers, or JCI-accredited facilities
• Vendor training certifications on medical equipment are an advantage
