- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Register patients and verify personal, insurance, and demographic information
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and inquiries
- Provide accurate information regarding services, clinic locations, physicians, and appointment procedures
- Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is completed accurately
- Manage patient check in and check out processes efficiently
- Coordinate with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to facilitate smooth patient flow
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, courier deliveries, and internal communications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Monitor visitor access and follow facility security and safety procedures
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records when required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, Customer Service Representative, or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems and electronic medical records (EMR) is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience handling multi line telephone systems and office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
