About the Role
Czech Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiovascular evaluations. Candidates must be graduates from an accredited school of Cardiac Technology with a current DOH license and two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities
- Perform imaging tests (Echocardiograms) and non imaging cardiovascular evaluations including Exercise tolerance tests, Holter monitoring, Event recorders, 24 hr Ambulatory BP Monitoring, Electrocardiograms.
- Assist in performing Transesophageal echocardiography.
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and follow pre screening policy.
- Determine appropriate methodology and techniques; arrange immobilization and/or support devices for proper patient positioning; select appropriate imaging device.
- Prepare patient for echocardiography procedures, position patient appropriately, and assist patients at completion of procedure.
- Use good judgment to determine if procedure was sufficient for proper diagnoses.
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
- Prepare facilities in accordance with procedural requirements; calibrate equipment as required.
- Monitor patient’s physical condition during procedure; report changes or emergencies to clinical staff, supervisor and/or cardiologist.
- Recognize abnormal rhythms and immediately notify Physician or appropriate clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, including computerized documentation.
- Perform general office duties: maintain stock supplies, assist in determining quantities for purchase, record procedure codes for billing, and schedule patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Technology
- 6 months of Internship in Cathlab Technology
- Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in U.A.E.
- Two years of recent related work experience as a Cardiology Tech, Interventional/Special Procedure Technologist (or equivalent)
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Technology
- 6 months of Internship in Cathlab Technology
- Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in U.A.E.
- Two years of recent related work experience as a Cardiology Tech, Interventional/Special Procedure Technologist (or equivalent)
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language advantageous/desirable but Not Essential
- Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
