Role Overview
The Reception Manager will oversee front-of-house reception and reservations operations for SUSHISAMB and Signor Sassi dining concepts.
The role supports exceptional guest experiences for an international clientele in vibrant, high-end dining venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Reception, Hostess, and Reservations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage reservations, table allocation, waitlists, and seating strategy to maximize covers and revenue.
- Build relationships with VIP guests, regular clientele, and hotel partners.
- Handle guest enquiries, special requests, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Managers and Operations to optimize service flow during peak periods.
- Maintain grooming, service standards, and front-of-house presentation.
- Coach, train, and develop reception team members.
- Monitor reservation trends and prepare reports to improve guest satisfaction and business performance.
- Manage reception team schedules.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury restaurants or lifestyle dining concepts.
- Strong knowledge of SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms.
- Experience managing high-volume operations and leading multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication, guest engagement, and service recovery skills.
- Fluent English is required; Italian, Russian, French, or Spanish is advantageous.
