About the Role

- Prepare, review, and analyze cost estimates and cost plans across key design stages
- Participate in design development meetings and provide cost input to support design to budget compliance
- Identify, track, and report on key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities throughout design development
- Undertake detailed quantity take offs and measurements from drawings and BIM models
- Contribute to value engineering exercises by preparing comparative cost analyses
- Assist in preparation and management of commercial and cost risk registers
- Prepare comprehensive cost inputs and reports for project steering and client reporting
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors for coordinated cost information
- Ensure cost management deliverables comply with UAE regulations and international standards (RICS/NRM)
- Support development of tender documentation and cost related contract provisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certification from a recognized body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 7 years of professional experience in quantity surveying with focus on pre contract cost planning
- Proven experience across multiple sectors including sports, hospitality, mixed use, healthcare, and education
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway) and BIM tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- In depth knowledge of construction practices, methodologies, and procurement processes
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts and local UAE regulations
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous

Job Description

- You will support cost management services during pre contract phases of large scale construction projects.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design environment, you will provide critical cost expertise.
