About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage post contract commercial activities on developer led projects from award to final account
- Monitor and control project costs, including cost to complete and cashflow forecasts
- Assess, negotiate, and agree variations, claims, and change events
- Prepare monthly cost reports for internal teams and stakeholders
- Identify and manage commercial and cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value
- Administer interim payments, valuations, and final accounts
- Work closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to support project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 7 years of professional experience in quantity surveying
- Proven hands on experience across multiple sectors including sports, hospitality, mixed use, healthcare, and education
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway) and BIM tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- In depth knowledge of construction practices, methodologies, and procurement processes
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts and local regulations in UAE
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic advantageous
- Knowledge of NRM & POMI standards

Qualifications

- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for cost modeling and analysis.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- In depth knowledge of construction practices, methodologies, and procurement processes.
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts and local construction regulations in the UAE.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
