The employer is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for a contracting company in Dubai.
The role covers post-contract quantity surveying, cost control, invoicing, variations, claims, and commercial project monitoring.

Requirements
- Strong experience in quantity surveying, cost control, project invoicing, variations, claims management, and commercial project monitoring.
- Good knowledge of the UAE or GCC construction environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Post-Contract Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Develop Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
- Analyze drawings and contract documents for project requirements.
- Monitor project costs and maintain cost reports.
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders.
- Prepare contractual claims, extensions of time, and supporting documentation.
- Verify subcontractor measurements, valuations, and payment certificates.
- Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with site and procurement teams on commercial matters.
- Maintain cost, variation, and claims records.
- Prepare commercial reports, cost analyses, profitability assessments, and forecasts.
