Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform turbine installations, inspections, aftermarket upgrades, and field work while directing supervisors and craft labor.
- Manage, perform, and coordinate steam turbine installations and overhauls.
- Respond to emergency repair and service requests and troubleshoot equipment.
- Provide customers and contractors with technical direction during installation and outage execution.
- Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job status reports and timesheets.
- Sign off on changes implemented during overhauls.
- Ensure work meets technical requirements and company safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and provide routine maintenance support to customers.
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for future outages.
- Ensure all required parts are shipped to the job site.
- Support customers remotely and assist with report reviews, maintenance documentation, and outage planning when not in the field.
- Maintain current knowledge of steam turbines and associated corrective actions.
Requirements
- 6-11 years of experience, as stated in the source listing.
- Up-to-date awareness and understanding of steam turbines and associated corrective actions.
- Ability to travel internationally for up to 80% of the time.
