Role Overview
The Proposal Engineer will support tendering, cost estimation, and proposal preparation activities in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFQs, tenders, and project specifications to understand bid requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Develop treatment process solutions based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare technical specifications, submittals, clarifications, and preliminary control philosophies.
- Support sales and engineering teams during pre-sales and project handover stages.
- Maintain vendor, supplier, and proposal databases.
- Ensure accurate, competitive, and timely submission of proposals.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
