Quality Technician

Carry out the quality checks on every panel produced during your shift, including panels fitted with windows and insulation.

Complete additional checks on roll formed parts as requested by the quality team.

Record all your inspection results accurately using our quality inspection app.

Raise a report where something does not meet standard, look into why it happened and agree a clear plan to put it right.

Support operators with training so that panels are built to our design and quality standards.

Work closely with production, design and improvement colleagues to keep quality consistent across the line.

Support housekeeping and improvement activity in your own area.

Essential

Strong attention to detail.

Good analytical skills.

Clear communication.

The ability to work well with teams across different departments and processes.

A good understanding of, and commitment to, continuous improvement and process discipline.

The ability to work with minimum supervision, as you will be the only person in this role on your shift.

Ambition and an interest in building your career.

Desirable

Experience from a quality background, such as checking processes, identifying faults and working to a high standard of accuracy.
