Plant Process Manager

Lead, coach, and develop the Process and Quality Engineering team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, cost, energy performance, and overall plant productivity.

Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve process and quality issues.

Monitor process performance, analyse production data, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Manage process trials, ensuring activities are properly planned, documented, and evaluated.

Support the implementation of local and group manufacturing strategies and improvement projects.

Ensure process standards, specifications, documentation, and databases are maintained and up to date.

Provide process expertise and leadership across the site, supporting operational decision-making and performance improvement.

Develop and deliver process training to build capability across the manufacturing teams.

Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.

Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.

Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment, with a strong focus on team development.

Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence, cost reduction, and performance optimisation.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards within manufacturing.

Experience analysing production data and leading improvement projects to deliver measurable results.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as ERP or MES platforms.
