Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and random site inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to ITPs, Method Statements, and QMS requirements
- Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities including cable testing and functional testing
- Identify non conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure effective document control
Requirements
- Experience in electrical inspection within construction or engineering projects
- Knowledge of electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and prepare detailed inspection reports

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all assigned work meets agreed KPIs and SLAs while coordinating with client teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Conducting planned and random site inspections of electrical installations and systems.
- Inspecting electrical works including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, low voltage installations, control panels, cabling, and associated infrastructure.
- Monitoring contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved ITPs, Method Statements, and QMS requirements.
- Witnessing electrical testing and commissioning activities including cable testing, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, and system performance verification.
- Identifying non conformances, quality issues, and deviations from project specifications, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigating recurring quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and preparing detailed inspection reports with supporting documentation and photographs.
- Recording inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality records in relevant systems.
- Providing field based technical support and guidance to contractors and project teams on quality related matters.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements during all inspection activities.
- Participating in on call escalation rotas and supporting colleagues as required.
