About the Role
KEO International Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide on-site supervision and technical support for electrical engineering aspects of projects in Dubai.

- Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and other electrical installations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with national utility providers to ensure smooth and timely connections
- Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals from contractors
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to plans
- Inspect and test electrical installations at various stages of construction
- Investigate and resolve electrical related issues or defects during construction
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and non conformances
- Ensure safety of all electrical work on site by implementing and enforcing safety protocols
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on electrical matters
Requirements
- Experience in electrical engineering for construction projects
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals
- Experience in conducting site inspections and testing electrical installations
- Strong technical support and problem solving skills

- The position is responsible for providing on site supervision and technical support for all electrical engineering aspects of the project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and any other relevant electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations in the country where the project is located.
- Coordinate with national utility providers (electricity, water, gas, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely connections.
- Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals from contractors and subcontractors to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of electrical works and ensure adherence to approved plans and schedules.
- Inspect and test electrical installations at various stages of construction, including but not limited to: wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and grounding systems.
- Investigate and resolve any electrical related issues or defects that arise during construction, including coordination with contractors to rectify any deficiencies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of all electrical inspections, tests, and non conformances.
- Ensure the safety of all electrical work on site. This includes implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety hazards identified.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on all electrical related matters.
