Quality Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on and highly collaborative Quality Engineer to support supplier quality, manufacturing, engineering, field service, and overall quality improvement activities.

This role will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues throughout the product lifecycle—from incoming materials and production builds to field/service returns.

This position combines engineering-level problem solving with hands-on quality activities, including inspections, audits, failure analysis, data analysis, supplier quality management, and production support.

• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues involving electronic, mechanical, and other components from incoming inspection, production, R&D, inspection, and field/service activities.
• Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and work with suppliers to develop, review, and approve Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) responses.
• Review supplier quality performance and maintain the Supplier Quality Scorecard, including quality-related metrics and trends.
• Review and approve supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), First Article Inspection (FAI), and incoming inspection documentation.
• Monitor supplier corrective actions and ensure issues are effectively resolved and sustained.
