Role Overview
Quality Control Manager responsible for quality standards across perfume and fragrance production operations.
The role covers perfumes, fragrances, raw materials, finished products, and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise QC activities for perfumes, fragrances, raw materials, and finished products.
- Develop quality control procedures, standards, and inspection systems.
- Inspect and approve raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Monitor production processes against approved specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct or coordinate testing of fragrance, alcohol, color, appearance, odor, stability, and other quality parameters.
- Maintain QC records, test reports, batch records, and certificates of analysis.
- Investigate complaints, defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and implement CAPA.
- Work with Production, R&D, Procurement, Warehouse, and Regulatory teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure batch-to-batch consistency and maintain product quality.
- Establish quality standards for new perfume formulations and product launches.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and monitor raw-material quality.
- Lead inspections, support audits, train QC staff, and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably in perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, or personal care.
- Strong knowledge of perfume and fragrance raw materials and finished-product quality standards.
- Experience with laboratory testing, analytical methods, and QC equipment.
- Good understanding of GMP, ISO, CAPA, SOPs, batch documentation, and quality management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and team-management skills.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Stability testing, product specifications, and quality investigations experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UAE or GCC perfume and cosmetics regulations is advantageous.
- Good English communication skills are required; Arabic is advantageous.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
