Role Description
The Quality Assurance Manager is a part-time, remote role overseeing and improving quality standards across construction projects.
The role develops quality assurance policies, procedures, and checklists aligned with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Review project documentation and monitor compliance with quality control plans.
- Conduct remote audits and prepare clear reports on findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and site supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Implement preventive measures and support training on quality assurance practices.
- Track quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend process enhancements.
- Work with project teams, suppliers, and external partners to strengthen performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong quality management background with experience developing and implementing QA/QC procedures in construction or engineering environments.
- Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and contracts for compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in documenting findings, preparing structured reports, and communicating recommendations clearly.
- Experience with remote monitoring tools, project management software, and basic data analysis for quality metrics.
