- Lead and mentor the QA team while promoting quality standards and best practices
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and testing methodologies
- Review business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, Smoke, API, Performance, and UAT support testing
- Collaborate with Development, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
- Identify, track, prioritize, and verify software defects until closure
- Analyze root causes of defects and recommend preventive actions
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment
- Generate QA metrics, dashboards, and quality reports for management
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4–5 years of hands on technical QA experience
- Previous experience leading QA activities or mentoring QA engineers
- Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
