Role Scope
Quality ownership within the product engineering organization.
Collaborative role contributing directly to product delivery, stability, and scalability rather than operating as a siloed QA function.
Relocation
- Relocation to Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai is required.
- Relocation and document support will be provided.
Main Requirements
- 3–5+ years of test automation experience within product or platform teams.
- Strong hands-on TypeScript or JavaScript experience.
- Experience writing end-to-end tests alongside application code using a near-code or monorepo approach.
- Experience collaborating with backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers.
- Practical experience with Playwright or an equivalent modern end-to-end testing framework.
- Strong understanding of the test pyramid, shift-left testing, and contract testing.
- Experience with REST API testing, data validation, and system-level testing.
- Ability to design and implement mocks, stubs, and other test doubles.
- Understanding of object-oriented or functional programming concepts as applied to test code and frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Intermediate-level or higher written and spoken English proficiency.
