Iso & Qms Leadership
- Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards: coordinate updates to procedures, SOPs, and records.
- Lead end-to-end ISO certification cycles: readiness assessments, gap analyses, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and surveillance audits.
- Serve as the focal point for internal and external audits; plan audit schedules, develop checklists, and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Train process owners and frontline teams on QMS requirements, document control, and audit preparedness.
- Monitor process performance using KPIs; drive PDCA and root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) to reduce defects, delays, and nonconformities.
Logistics Operations Quality
- Map and optimize logistics processes (inbound/outbound, warehousing, inventory accuracy, pick/pack/ship, last‑mile, returns) to enhance service quality and compliance.
- Implement quality gates, sampling plans, and inspection criteria for key lanes, hubs, and 3PL partners.
- Collaborate with Ops, WMS teams, Fleet, and Customer Service to standardize work, reduce turnaround time (TAT), and improve OTIF and DIFOT metrics.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor quality assurance where applicable; define SLAs and quality clauses.
Sustainability & Certifications (Ecovadis & Leed)
- Support EcoVadis assessments: evidence collection, policy documentation, score improvement plans (Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to build sustainability roadmaps aligned to EcoVadis criteria (e.g., emissions tracking, supplier due diligence, training).
- Partner with Facilities/Real Estate on LEED-related initiatives (where applicable): documentation, commissioning evidence, data gathering (energy, water, waste), and alignment to credits.
- Contribute to ESG data integrity and disclosures relevant to customers and stakeholders.
Compliance, Risk & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and customer requirements across sites and hubs.
- Maintain risk registers and FMEA for critical processes and assets, lead mitigation and contingency planning.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma tools to boost quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver periodic quality and sustainability dashboards for leadership review.
