- Experience in quality inspection of materials
- Knowledge of ASME/ASTM standards
- Ability to review Material Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1/3.2)
- Experience with NCR processes

Responsibilities
- Inspect all incoming materials (local and imported) against client Purchase Orders, datasheets, and applicable ASME/ASTM standards — dimensions, marking, heat numbers, coating, and general condition.
- Review Material Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2) and verify traceability against heat numbers stamped on the material. Flag any deviation before material is accepted into stock.
- Raise and follow up NCRs for non conforming materials with suppliers until closed.
- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspection sheets, and quality/release reports as required by the client or project.
- Coordinate third party inspection (TPI) visits — arrange access, documents, and witness points — and compile the inspection reports afterward.
- Update Material Receipt Notes (MRN) and keep all quality records complete and audit ready.
- Carry out periodic checks on stock materials — condition, preservation, end protection, and storage — and report anything deteriorating before it becomes a problem.
- Check final packing against client and shipping requirements; prepare packing details and container loading documentation with photos.
- Work day to day with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams so quality issues are caught early — not at delivery.
